Macarena Recuerda Shepherd is a visual and scenic artist who has created several very diverse pieces. In 2010, she starts directing « live » films with the help of photographic material and presents two of her works : « That’s the story of my life » and « Greenwich art show ». In 2013, she takes an interest in performing in the public space, and creates the travelling piece « Whose are those eyes ? ». Over the past few years , she has led intergenerational workshops : « Collage and action », a game conceived so that families can experiment in a creative process between children and adults. Her latest creation is titled « ¡AY! ¡YA! ».
« ¡AY! ¡YA! » is an illusion that brings us to perceive reality in different ways. They are suggested by the bias of the imagination, originating phenomena that play tricks with your vision. A performative dance aimed at all audiences. An excuse so that we can meet each other again.
